We are looking for a talented, agile project manager to join our team of excellent software engineers and data scientists. By joining us, you will have the opportunity to lead teams of passionate developers to build and deliver high-quality software to our high-profile customers. You will also get to collaborate very closely with clients on a range of diverse, challenging and interesting long-term projects.
As a software project manager, you will:
manage cross-department teams of local and remote software developers, building applications and features for the Genestack platform in the context of customer and internal projects
be the key point of contact with customers throughout the project, collecting and updating requirements, communicating progress and feedback
communicate with key customer and internal stakeholders from diverse backgrounds (management, IT, biology, bioinformatics...)
ensure projects are running smoothly and on schedule
coordinate software releases
document project progress
tailor project management processes to fit the needs of specific projects and teams
gather customer requirements during the project definition phase and contribute to writing project proposals
provide resources estimates for the project and features delivery schedule
communicate with the marketing and business development team to help foster customer relationships and seize opportunities for further projects and collaborations
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
a background in software engineering
experience managing teams of software developers in an agile environment
a master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field (computer science, bioinformatics, engineering, etc.) or equivalent industry experience
experience as a business analyst / gathering software requirements
excellent verbal and written communication skills
an interest in biology or bioinformatics
