The Opportunity

We’re looking for a curious and analytical Marketing Intern to support our team with strategic market research this summer. You’ll explore how life sciences companies approach marketing, help us benchmark industry practices, and uncover opportunities to enhance Genestack’s own marketing strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to learn how commercial and scientific worlds intersect, and to contribute to shaping how a biotech company tells its story.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on marketing strategies used by life sciences and bioinformatics companies

  • Analyze trends in scientific communication, digital marketing, and outreach in the biotech sector

  • Help build a competitor intelligence database focused on positioning, content, and campaigns

  • Identify best practices and innovative approaches in B2B life sciences marketing

  • Present findings to internal stakeholders with actionable recommendations

  • Contribute to content planning, messaging, or campaign ideas based on research

Ideal Candidate

  • Student or recent graduate in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or Bioinformatics

  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills

  • Interest in life sciences, genomics, and/or health tech industries

  • Comfortable navigating websites, publications, and digital marketing channels

  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious
